Raz Kids is a reading resource that we use in school with our students. It has Phonics and Literacy games for students to play, but also assists students in reading books that are at their current reading level. Raz Kids is a great resource to have because there is such a wide variety of books for your student to access. You can login to Mrs. Reid's classroom and have your student login. To search and find Mrs. Reid's class, type in "vreid2" and your students name should pop up. Have fun!
If you click on the blue button above you will find a website with many different options for your student to practice phonemic awareness at home. These are in the form of games that award points for correct answers. They offer visuals and audio to assist your student as well as hints for some games. This is a great resource to have if you think your student is struggling with beginning, middle, and ending sounds. Practicing these types of games could help them in their reading skills.
